Everything needs to have a place. GET THERE!!!!

Hello All,

Well, today was spent cleaning out the garage, so the Gazelle can have a place to park her car while we are gone. I then moved on to the packing. It seems to be taking shape; although, I haven’t gotten to the clean panties as yet. The stretch strap is loaded and ready to go. In the big picture it looks like everything is going to fit and I should have the majority ready to go by tomorrow. I’ll update when it’s all ready, so you don’t get too bored watching me pack for five days.

From what I understand, Gazelle packed last night and is ready to hit the road…..or rather the airport in our case. I’m starting to get the itch to ride and from what Vulture tells me, they are having a great ride…..right up to where his gas line broke, soaked him in gasoline and stopped returning the extra fuel to the tank. However, since he carries every BMW motorcycle tool known to man with him, he was able to rob a bolt from the Birdman’s bike, plug the broken line, clamp it off and ride the next 560 miles to the BMW dealer in Salt Lake City, Utah. The kicker here is that he is so anal retentive that he had new steel connectors shipped from the BMW dealer in San Antonio to the dealer in Salt Lake City, just so he wouldn’t have to take a chance on them not having the part to repair the bike. Well, he arrived at the dealership at 9:00 a.m. and so did UPS. Vulture is now recommending that UPS take over the government. Seems like they have got their act together!

As you may have noticed, posts in this blog are assigned to various categories. For instance, this post is under “Getting It Together.” Another is “Chasing The Wind” and still another is “Uncategorized.” (They are not all in use yet.) With this in mind, I’m starting another category called “Finding Vulture.” Finding Waldo would have been better, but Vulture’s name is not Waldo…..so it really wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense. So the idea will be to go to the category “Finding Vulture” and try to determine his/our location from the photo he provides. If you are the first to identify the location, you will be the winner of that day’s prize and will be entered into the competition for the Grand Prize. (Neither prize has been determined and there is no guarantee that you would get it anyway.) But, give it a shot and have some fun.

So, good day, happy trails and I’ll see ya soon,
