Howdy All,

As our trip winds down, I think we are all ready to get home. Getting up everyday and packing up to hit the road on a regular basis, gets tiring.

We have now traveled from Skagway, via the Motor Vessel “Columbia,” which is part of the Alaska Marine Highway System to Bellingham. The “highway” is owned and operated by the State of Alaska. They do a great job!

We have stopped at several places during our journey home on the ferry, including Haines, Sitka, St. Petersburg, Wrangell and Ketchican, AK. Some stops were at night….as in 2:00 a.m., so there won’t be any pics of some of the places, but I’m sure there are books that have much better pics than mine, anyway.

Once, into Bellingham, we rode our bikes to the BMW dealership in Seattle. We left the bikes there to be shipped home and headed to the hotel to await the flight home on Saturday.

to be continued…..
(La Kitten has had technical difficulties and will conclude this post tomorrow…Oh, the suspense!)
